Frequency Cut-Off Filter and Equalizers

Frequency Cut-Off Filter :

The Frequency Filter is a powerful DSP (Digital Sound Processing) effect that can only be achieved using digital technology. As described in the two graphics (from the Green skin), it cuts off a range of frequencies creating a unique sound effect. In the first example frequencies ranging from the lowest to 165Hz are cut off and ranging from 1.7KHz to the highest in the second. Use the right mouse button to instantly reset this filter. You can achieve very interesting effects using this cut-off filter. This effect can also be assigned to the 4 assignable BCD2000knobs (A-D) for easiest use. In the configuration menu (CFG) you can even select, what type of cut-off filter you prefer. You can select between Low Pass, High Pass and a combined Low Pass & High Pass filter mode.

Equalizers :

A set of three equalizer knobs is available for each player. The low, middle and high spectrum of frequencies can be modified within -14 dB to +14 dB range. Use right mouse click reset the knob to 0 dB. Use the Kill buttons to cut off the entire low, middle or high frequency range (-90dB cut off for each frequency range). The three frequency ranges are:

Low (bass): 16 Hz – 250 Hz
Mid: 250 Hz – 7 Khz
High (treble): 7KHz – 22 Khz

The Cut-off Filters, the Equalizers and the Effects (which will be presented next) actually belong to the mixer panel, but we have presented them here at the decks section because it's very difficult to clearly separate them from the decks (visually and conceptually too).
